Borðoy | Faroe iselands

Borðoy is the largest of the six Northern Islands, 96 km². It is strongly incised and therefore has many high headlands or barð, and these have given the island its name. The town of Klaksvík, with around 5,000 inhabitants, is located on Borðoy and forms the centre of the region
