Viðoy | Faroe iselands

Viðoy is the northernmost island of the Faroe Islands, and with its 41 km² is the second largest of the six islands in the Norðoyar region. Viðoy actually means wood island due to the driftwood drifting ashore in Viðvík on the island's east side. 605 inhabitants live here.
